The active USB 2.0 extension cable from good connections® connects your far away USB devices, such as your printer or scanner, to devices that have a USB-a socket, such as your computer or notebook. The integrated amplifier prevents the usual signal loss over long distances and thus removes the distance restrictions when connecting USB devices. The extension cable can be cascaded, i.e. several active extensions can be connected in series in order to extend the USB connection further.

High-Quality Cable Construction The double shielded conductor consists of 99,99% oxygen-free copper (OFC). This allows for increased signal transmission and greater cable breaking strength. The connectors are equipped with copper contacts for a perfect signal transmission.

Easy to use with plug and play Connect and get started! Connect the signal source (USB-a socket) to the USB input of the terminal, a driver installation is not necessary!

Additional power cable for devices without own power supply The included power cable can be connected to devices powered by BUS-power alone, i.e. devices without a power supply or battery, as otherwise not enough power could arrive after a distance of more than 5 meters. For devices that have their own power supply, such as printers, the connection of this power cable is not necessary.
