This heat-shrink tubing from Delock is used on a variety of items that require a non-slip grip, such as tools, fitness equipment, tennis rackets and fishing rods. When exposed to heat, the tube wraps entirely around the handle and contracts. This protects the handle from the elements and from mechanical damage.

Using heat-shrink tubing The heat-shrink tubing can be heated with a hot air gun, whereby the tube shrinks to half its original diameter at a shrink rate of 2:1 when heated.
