The hot-melt inner adhesive provides a waterproof seal when overlapped correctly. The advantage of the transparent design is that you can see the heat-shrunk-wrapped object. Ideal for repairing or connecting cables and conductors (lawn mower guide cables, signal wires etc.), service, manufacturing or hobby. Application is very simple: Strip the cable and insert on both sides until the stripped cable ends overlap. Crimp with crimping pliers and then activate the heat-shrink tubing in the respective temperature range - ideally with a heat gun.
