IDEC FT2J-7U22RAF-B Industrial 7" Touchscreen PLC&HMI 14 In 8 Out 2A Relay

The IDEC FT2J-7U22RAF-B is a powerful and compact all-in-one controller that integrates both PLC and HMI functionality into a single unit. Designed for industrial automation applications, it features a 7-inch TFT LCD colour touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The display uses projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology, allowing for multi-touch operation and compatibility with thin gloves, making it ideal for harsh environments.

This model includes 22 onboard I/O points, comprising 14 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs rated at 2A. Four of the digital inputs can be configured as analogue inputs, and the unit also supports analogue output (0–10V DC), and PID control. The FT2J-7U22RAF-B is built with a dual-core processor architecture, enabling simultaneous and efficient execution of PLC logic and HMI visualisation.

Connectivity options are robust, featuring Ethernet for Modbus TCP communication, serial ports (RS232C/RS422/RS485), and USB. Remote access capabilities include FTP, email notifications, mobile app integration, and custom web page hosting, making it suitable for remote diagnostics and industrial IoT applications.

Engineered for reliability, the unit operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and carries ingress protection ratings of IP65F, IP66F, and IP67F. It is certified for use in UL Type 4X, 12, and 13 enclosures, and meets Class I Division 2 hazardous location standards.

The FT2J-7U22RAF-B is also battery-free, utilising MRAM and a hyper-capacitor for non-volatile data retention. This controller is ideal for a wide range of applications including conveyor systems, packaging machinery, HVAC control, water treatment, and OEM machine integration.
